Birthday Butterflies

Finally finished the last of the birthday cards I need for this month.  I thought this patterned paper from My Mind's Eye would make the perfect background for the butterflies.  Hero Arts H5426 Artist Butterfly was embossed and then sponged with Ranger peeled paint and spiced marmalade distress inks (love this color combo!).  The sentiment from MSE was embossed on a Nestie ribbon slide tag.
Other Materials Used:  Michael's satin ribbon, Queen & Co rhinestones, Stampin' Up cs

After enjoying some springy days Winter has returned with a vengeance :(  It was literally snowing sideways all day long yesterday and there were several times last night when I wondered if the wind was going to carry our house away!  Hope it's better tomorrow - my stampin' sister is coming over to craft, eat and shop(gotta take advantage of 55% off at AC Moore!).  I've got a pan of Peaches & Cream French Toast in the fridge just waiting to be baked in the morning - yum!

Thanks for stopping by and for your comments!

This is so pretty Robin! I love that you used 3 of these bigger butterflies on this card! :> And love that you paired it with that paper! :> Your recent weather sounds like what we had the other day! It was crazy windy and we kept hearing a loud odd noise, turns out it was half of a skip rope that was left half outside of the garage! :> Enjoy your stampin day tomorrow!

Sounds like a splendid time with your sister - crafting, and good food - sounds fabulous :)

The Artist Butterfly never looked so beautiful. Robin! Gorgeous card! We ended up with Blizzard conditions today. . .I barely made it home from work this evening. Scary driving when you can hardly see 30 feet in front of the car! We've gotten 13 inches so far and more coming. YUK!! Have a great time tomorrow!
