Last weekend I picked up a few new stamping goodies to make Valentines including the Paper Smooches Bee Mine set:
And this is what I mean about struggling with sketches! Was it okay to not go so literal and use a leafy branch instead of a horizontal banner in the design?! I just couldn't make a banner work with my bee:( But by using the branch is the design not so "clean" anymore??? *Sigh*
Other Materials Used: Stampin' Up Baked Brown Sugar cs and Melon Mambo cs, Stampin' Up Fashionable Hearts embosslit, Stampin' Up Melon Mambo marker, Papertrey ink white cs, Papertrey ink Ruby Rose flower stamp and die, Memory Box leafy branch die, Pebbles Seen & Noted pp, Cuttlebug Honeycomb embossing folder, Queen & Co rhinestones, copic markers, glossy accents
And since I used an embossing folder in my design I'm also adding this to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Emboss It
Thanks for all your constructive comments!

Absolutely adorable! I'm no expert, but looks great for the challenge to me. I don't have mine done yet--neat, but challenging sketch which you made great use of, Robin!
super cute card, robin! i'm with greta... doesn't look like the sketch was a challenge to you!
So cute and sweet!! I think you did great!
This is so cute! To me, sketches are just a starting point and you can go literal or more interpretive. Great job!
I think it's beautiful! You can take some liberties as long as you can see the sketch in your card. You did great!
I think you did a really great job on this sketch Robin but I do agree that sketches are awfully hard to follow! I love this card though...you have such talent!
Cute as can beeeeee! Adorable Valentine! So glad you joined us at FMS!
Hi Robin your card is awesome and think you did a great job with this sketch! always so original and unique.Love your style. ♥
Robin, this is quite adorable and I think you did a fine job interpreting the sketch. Very creative and unique -- and such sweet images!
Aww... this is so Awesome Robin! Love the cute bee and flowers :)
This has my heart, Robin! I love how you used the sketch......and your balance of design is just perfect. Your cards ALWAYS make me smile!
Sketches are a jumping off point for me. Sometimes I do copy it exactly, but most of the time I change it up to fit my needs. Sketches can be rotated, flipped, turned etc. You can swap out elements like a star for a heart. *unless the specific challenge requires a shape*
In my opinion you card is still CAS because you have "white space", but I struggle with CAS, so I might not be the one to ask. ;)
The end result is a darling card, so that makes it a winner!
Awesome interpretation of the sketch! I love your creations!
Oh my goodnes... too cute! I wouldn't mind this cute little bee buzzin' around my ear!
