I've been humming that old AC/DC song all morning:) Don't ever use black as a card base but I'd been playing with some Ranger distress inks (squeezed lemonade, peacock feathers, worn lipstick) and water and thought these bright colors would pop even more against black:
Modern Landscape Border from Memory Box was die cut from black cardstock. Cloud from Hero Arts Right At Home set was embossed on vellum. Sentiment and heart are from the same set. Card base was embossed with a Stampin' Up/Sizzix chevron embossing folder.
Back to the craft room - I need to start working on some cards I actually need :)

I love it, Robin! Such a cool looking background!
That is absolutely lovely. Know what you mean about getting back to making cards you actually need!
Love your watercolor background, Robin - so beautiful with that sweet die cut and the vellum cloud!! Hmmm - wish I had a dollar for every card I've made that I didn't need at that moment. Luckily they usually come in handy later...
Robin, you are an amazing stamper! How very clever to use the die cut image...so, so cool!
You are such a master of scenes, Robin! That vellum cloud has my heart (how did you attach it - that bugs me about vellum!). So darn cute - I can just feel that storm and want to run home. Amazing!
Beautiful sky! I want to live there! Wonderful card, Robin!
Wonderful sky! Very special card Robin!
Your distress background looks so cool amid all the black, love it!
Stunning card, love the die cuts that you added.

Love this, Robin! Your Polaroid scene with the Modern Landscape die and the gorgeous sky is brilliant!
Wow! These colors do pop against the black bg! I love the awesome watercoloring! You are a master at this technique! I am lovin' that landscape die, too!!
Robin - what a fantastic scene! I love the polaroid frame, the little landscape border, the watercolors, the heart, and the embossed background. Is that everything? 'Cause I love everything about this card! Thank you so much for playing along with us at CAS-ual Fridays!
What a stunning background Robin! I know what you mean when you say you have to make cards you actually need! :) I love that die from Memory Box!
