Runway Inspired Challenge #14 and CAS-ual Fridays #58

Check out the current inspiration for the Runway Inspired Challenge #14 that ends tomorrow:

My plantar fasciatis is acting up just looking at this shoe:)  I do love the colors, the shine from the patent leather and how it's angular yet feminine at the same time.  Using cardstock in similar colors, an acetate panel for some shine, a chevron embossing folder for some angles and a pretty butterfly this is what I came up with:

Materials Used:  Hero Arts butterfly and sentiment, Papertrey ink cs, Stampin' Up/Sizzix embossing folder, Michael's pearl, Signo white gel pen

I know it's cutting it close but I'm also entering this in CAS-ual Fridays challenge #58 that ends today at noon EST:

Temps are headed back in the 90's over the next few days and I need to get outside and do some yardwork before I have another excuse not to do it :)

Look out, Ted Gunn! This card is red-carpet material, for sure! Love the texture, the shine (brilliant idea to use acetate this way) and colors.

I giggled at your foot comment :) Really - What person could wear those? Let alone actually walking in them!!
Your card is lovely tho. I really like that big, bold sentiment you used!
Stay cool, my friend! My temp says 93, but it feels way hotter and throw in some humidity-it's horrible out!! Hope you get some reprieve soon :)

Love this card, Robin! The fashionable inspiration took you to a wonderful creative place. I'm a flats loving woman too; I'm sure I'd develop a nosebleed from the altitude with those shoes. I'm all for comfort rather than style.
