I don't own any houndstooth stamps but I found some black and white houndstooth pp in my stash and came up with this:
May be difficult to see in the pic but I also used a Cuttlebug houndstooth embossing folder on the 3 panels. Sentiment is from Hero Arts. The Chloe Stem die (Looooove this!) is Memory Box.
Other Materials Used: Stampin' Up cs, Michael's clear gems
Been a little absent from visiting everyone's blogs as taking care of hubby (along with all the "chores" he usually does) is keeping me hoppin'! His follow-up appointment yesterday went well and the doctor (along with his wife!) hopes he can begin PT in a few weeks :) I hope to catch up on seeing what everyone's been creating this week!

Robin, I LOVE this! Methinks I see a winner here :))
What GREAT take on the photo! Your work is always so inspiring, Robin!
I agree - the color blocking against the b/w houndstooth paper is striking! You should get a blue ribbon for this one, Robin!
Ah - color blocking is such a current trend, Robin, and you have it nailed! I have to say that I don't care for the outfit, but I do love your brilliant card - great texture and color! Wishing hubby a speedy recovery (for both your sakes!). I have heard that is a difficult surgery. Hang in there, sweet gal!
super cool take on the inspiration photo, robin! you have definitely mastered CAS, my friend!
Wow--may be the best take on a photo I've ever seen! Fantastic work, Robin!
Hey Robin, I love that you used both patterned paper and embossing to incorporate houndstooth. Thanks for joining us on the Runway!
And we're so happy you found *us*! This is a brilliant card!
Holy smokes! Robin, this is incredible! Love the color blocking and houndstooth combined! Hope your hubby is recovering quickly!
