And though I hardly did the inspiration justice here is my card:
I layered some diecuts (a technique learned in class) from the Cricut cart Storybook as I thought their shape was kind of similar to the flowers in the runner. I embossed the Hero Arts sentiment in black to give more texture to the card. Still thought it needed SOMEthing so I added some Doodlecharms baker's twine and Michael's black pearls to die cut circles for the flower centers.
NOT my favorite card. If I were the teacher I'd give it a "C". No where to go but up I suppose! LOL!

I like it, Robin! I think it turned out really cool looking! Love your inspiration photo too! :)
well, robin... i would give it an A!! it is absolutely fantastic!
I think it's great Robin! Love the twine and pearls addition! I'm taking the class too. I had so much fun making the "chipboard" on mine! It's coming up with a proper design that usually kills me so I totally know how you feel! CAS isn't really my thing, but it's fun trying :)
Great card! I tried and failed at my first try with the technique, but after seeing your card, I think I'll give it another go! Thanks for the inspiration.
You are being too hard on yourself Robin! I really love it! And I adore the twine you wrapped in the centers!
I really like the twine and the black pearl, I think it's a nice touch... and I agree with Brenda, you're being too hard on yourself :)
