Au revoir!

I'm grinning from ear to ear as I write this post!  In less than 2 hours my dh and I will be on our way to the airport for a much anticipated trip to Paris!!!  I've wanted to visit Paris ever since my high school French teacher decided to take our class to Quebec City, Canada instead of France for junior year trip.  And not that the trip to Quebec City didn't hold its own magic - it was the first time I had traveled anywhere without my parents (besides a few weeks at summer camp!) and from that time forward an eagerness to experience other ways of life both here in the U.S. and abroad grew within me.  I still have the print I purchased from a starving artist portraying the archway between the older and newer parts of the city.  It's seen better days having adorned the walls of college dorm rooms and work cubicles but I could never part with this reminder of the girl I once was :)

So it's au revoir for now!  I will share pics and thoughts of Paris when we return.  I hope your days are full of creativity and that you enjoy the promise of spring!
